Victor left Battersea Central School in 1934, so was not an evacuee to Hawkley in fact by 1940 was in France and served most of the war in the RAF. He has been to the recent Re-unions and enjoyed meeting all those "youngsters", God willing hopes to be at many more Re-unions.
