The
present
organisation is
via Harry
Withers who has
been able via
various sources
to contact a
high percentage
of those sent
to Hawkley, and
others who came
later from
Portsmouth and
some of the
local lads who
joined
BCS. He
has maintained
a mailing list
with the details
of the next
re-union and
then has
circulated a
report perhaps
from the
Petersfield
Herald of the
meeting. Please
have a look at
the Re-Union
pages and see
if you can spot
names or faces
from those days
of the early
1940's.
We
are therefore
indebted to
Harry for his
past work and
look forward to
his plans and
information for
the future.
This web site
is not in
anyway changing
this style of
organisation
but will give
another channel
of past
memories or
photos from our
personal
archives.
